Als ich vor Kurzem im Internet mit Motiv-Folien `gepimpte´ Spielkonsolen gesehen habe, war ich schon sehr angetan von der Idee, sein Handy, Notebook oder sonstige Gegenstände ganz nach seinem Geschmack oder farblich passend zur restlichen Wohnungsgestaltung zu verschönern.

Wie funktioniert es?
Aus unscheinbar wird stylisch in drei einfachen Schritten:

Die Auswahl
Für meinen Shop- und Produkttest wollte ich meinen schwarzen Laptop etwas farbenfroher gestalten.
Da der Shop einmalig gut aufgebaut ist und allem Wichtigen eine besondere Größe zu Teil wird, ist er überaus übersichtlich, sodass man sich rasch zu Recht findet.
Innerhalb kürzester Zeit hatte ich mein Produkt durch Klicken auf „Notebooks“, anschließend „HP“ und schlussendlich „Compaq 615“ gefunden und wurde sofort auf die Design-Folien-Seite weitergeleitet.
Dabei konnte ich zwischen den zur Verfügung gestellten Designs wählen und dem Bereich „eigenes Design gestalten“. Ich entschied mich für eins der Designs und habe aus dem Sortiment „Muster/Holz/Leder/Materialien“ das neu eingetroffene „Shiny Metal Pink“ für 24,95€ als Favorit auserkoren, weil es ladylike Rosa und dennoch schlicht aber schick aussah.

Einige Tage später kam die Folie bei mir an und wurde begutachtet. Sie hätte meines Erachtens etwas Shiny-ger sein dürfen, aber die Farbe gefiel sehr gut!

Ein Laie beklebt ihren Laptop
Auf der Rückseite, sprich auf der klebenden Seite der Folie, ist sie grau-schwarz und wabenförmig, was vor Blasen schützen soll. Außerdem soll das Anbringen kinderleicht und passgenau funktionieren.
Und tatsächlich: Selbst nachdem ich drei Mal neu ansetzten musste, klebte die Folie einwandfrei und blasenfrei – ganz problemlos!

Was mich persönlich etwas stört, ist die Bezeichnung „passgenau“, da eben nicht alles bei diesem Laptop mit Folie beklebt wird, sondern ein Rand rundherum frei bleibt, der mich doch missfällt. Wäre mein Laptop nicht gerade glatt und schwarz sondern geriffelt oder blau o.ä., so würde der Kontrast wahrlich unschön aussehen und somit hätte die Folie den Sinn verfehlt. Gut hingegen finde ich, dass die Folie den Laptop komplett überdeckt und das Zeichen in der Mitte nicht mehr zu sehen ist (nicht wie bei den Folien für Apple-Laptops), zumal es kaum zu erkennen ist. Oder habt ihr die Umrisse des Abdruckes beim ersten Hinsehen bemerkt?
Der Shop ist äußerst benutzerfreundlich gestaltet und bietet zahlreiche Motive und Möglichkeiten seinen liebsten Stücke ein neues Aussehen zu verschaffen. Jedem der gerne mehr aus einem einfachen Design machen und seinen technischen Produkte einen persönlichen Touch verleihen möchte, würde ich DesignSkins® sehr gerne empfehlen.
